The Memorial Medical Center Revitalization Project is a 215,000 square foot, $127 million project incorporating three individual projects: Inpatient Tower, Center for Learning and Innovation, and Expanded Surgery Addition.
The 45,000 square foot, $25 million Center for Learning and Innovation focuses on equipping students with the skills they need to treat patients in an environment that mimics an actual healthcare facility.
The new facility will provide an image that responds to the campus fabric, but presents a more modern architectural expression. In addition to visioning sessions, tours of similar facilities across the country took place to help in defining a design language and state of the art facility that will speak to Memorial’s focus on education, training and simulation.
W5 DESIGN team members provided visioning, master planning, programming, schematic design and design development.
* Projects performed by current staff of W5 DESIGN during employment at previous firms.
