The multi‐phased BNH Lab Renovation Project allowed for the opportunity to reorganize the lab functions into a new, highly functional integrated process.  Over the years, new equipment was added to the lab wherever there was space without allowing optimal functionality.  The old automated chemistry line was removed.  The new line, twice the size of the old line was installed, adding both hematology and coagulation testing to the process.  This redesign allowed us to move all the ancillary support testing for those areas into adjacent spaces, consolidating functions and enhancing overall efficiency.
